Custom furniture, home builds, and original art bringing creative vision to life
At the early age of 11, Mark began his career as a designer, carpenter, artist, and builder. In his family business of acrylic fabrication, he designed and built retail display cases for brands like Vuarnet, Crown Royal, and Isuzu.
Seeking more creative substance and challenges, Mark transitioned, in 1990, to assist artist Craig French to create and build multi-media sculptures that fuse diverse materials such as copper, brass, steel, aluminum, exotic hardwoods, resin, and acrylic. This collaboration not only reinforced Mark's experience as a designer and artist but also elevated his craftsmanship and technical skill.
In 2005, Mark opened his own studio and has since been creating film and commercial props, custom furniture, and one-of-a-kind sculptures. He continues to collaborate with multiple artists, including Soojung Park, Brad Howe, Shana Mabari, and Elizabeth Orleans. He continues to turn client visions into tangible creations, finding inspiration in the natural world of Southern California.
